11:00 am & 2:00 pm: Wyoming State Archaeologist, Spencer Pelton, will discuss his excavations of the Powers II site and the artifacts found there. Powers II is a hematite quarry used 11,600 to 12,700 BP by Paleoindians and contains a diversity of Younger Dryas-aged spearpoints.
