Join us at Boyd Lake State park this Friday July 12 from 9:00pm-11:00pm for our first stargazing event of the summer. We will be viewing Saturn, Jupiter, and the moon through a telescope. Northern Colorado Astronomical Society and Colorado Parks and Wildlife are hosting the event with Interpretive Naturalist Brady Toll. All ages are welcome. If serious inclement weather is expected the event will be canceled. The event will continue with intermittent rain or wind so please dress appropriately. It is recommended that guests bring water and anything else they may need. RSVP is not mandatory, but appreciated. Please call the Visitor Center at (970) 669-1739 and ask for Brady (ext. 19 for voicemail) or e-mail [email protected] with any questions or to RSVP. All vehicles will need either a daily or an annual park pass.

Meet at the parking lot just South of the Boyd Lake campground (Heinricy Lot). The event will take place in or near the parking lot.
